well i have dialup and an adapter, i play everquest and it never lags b/c of the game servers, if there is lag it is b/c some1 is calling me or a famliy member picked up the phone. when i had madden me vs some1 with broadband worked well unless i got a disturbance, but two 56ks wasnt as fast especially if there happens to be alot of disturbance but it still isnt the same

yeah it would still be lagged because of the transfer speed.

i think that it should stay free. sony have enough money to do it, i mean there net adaptor is over priced for a start + all of the games.

i used to play with my dreamcast online (quake3 arena rulez!) but it costs 1p per minute

How many pounds in a dollar. For all I know 1p is cheap.

Anyway, Sony is not as rich as Microsoft. Sony cannot afforfd to lose money. So to maintain their servers they are going to have to charge. Which sucks for me, because I don't have a lot of money to go around.

you know games really cost $9.99 for the places like gamestop to buy them? Mayn, they jack it up way high.

They companies who sell the games to retailers like gamestop, only sell to you if you have a business license and are part of a chain. Or something like that. Bottom lline, you can't buy them now. But maybe in the future.

Plus you dont want like 100 games of one of the games, the main reason big companies get such big discounts is b/c they need to buy so much for all their stores they get huge discounts, thats why wal mart is so cheap for many things they buy so much of everything they have warehouses filled just waiting to be shipped......
