i think aol offers it, my local internet company has it...i heard it blows to.. the download is fast like cable but the upload is TERRIBLE.. its like isdn but worse ;o but if u can't get cable/dsl, i dunno, the only problem is u have to be able to get the sat. signal from your house(they have to come up and test it) then u get it hocked up if you get a signal..then u have to deal with weather.don;t think yu'll be playing in a blizzard, hail storm or bad thunder storm icon_neutral.gif or a really cloudy day =/ maybe somehow they fixed this all *shurgs* but its the same thing wish Dish TV same weather problems.

if anyone wants to know anythign about sat internet u can check this out
alot of this i was wrong about but hey its good to know some news things -_-

speeds depend on users and the provider

sattilte is iffy.. It's jsut like sattilite TV.. If it's cloudy you could loose signal.. And the strenght of your signal depends on alignment etc etc etc so if you mess up where you have it it takes forever to set it up again.

I'd imagine up would be a little slowon the upload, since you're home computer/sattilite are way smaller and less powerful than what the companies use to send you the signal icon_razz.gif

My g/f's dad is going to get a sattilite Laptop, if i hear anything about it i'll let you know.
