PS2 has the slowest processor! But it's still cool!
I was reading nintendo power magazine, and they named the top ten reasons why gamecube is the best. In that tirade of insults, it rammed about PS2's processor. Sadely, it is the truth, PS2 has the slowest processor of all the systems. The evidence of that can be seen when you play Dynasty Warriors 4. The game often slows down, when you have many enemies clogging up the screen. Well is that a problem with any of you PS2 freaks? Let me know! _________________ Out of many there is one. well my ps2 hasnt done that for any of the games i have played, but i havent played dynasty warriors 4. The only thing i can see is the loading that has to be done, but then again xbox and nintendo need load time as well so...

yes, all systems need to load, but ps2's processor makes load times somewhat longer, so any problem with that, or is it acceptable? _________________ Out of many there is one. Out of one there is many.

well i have a few ps2 games and the only long waits i have had is for the grand theft auto series and yes for those games it is well worth the wait
the man disadvantage to Disc is load times, thats why Cartrigages were so popular, they were so fast, barely or no load times..i play Chrono trigger on my ps2 and get load times for every menu and before every comabt..thats horrid considering its a 8 year old game.. but its not the CPUs fault, its squares for the crappy conversation, and the cut scenes were horride...mm.. true PS@ is 2.5X slower then the xbox, but the xbox has a major advantage over the playstation and thats a harddrive whihc reduces load times.. as well as no memory cards, and the ram . sometimes its the engine or the developers fault for crappy load times and what not.. not always the systems fault... _________________

Do you people think that next time around, Sony will put the fastest processor they can get? Will they put a built in hardrive, will it be better suited for online gaming? Let me know! _________________ Out of many there is one. Out of one there is many.

sony will put all the best things into PS3. they are already getting the best technologies and getting everything ready, its ognna be tight. plus the PSX entertainment system is coming soon and it has a bunch of stuff

i think sony's next system will be awsome(Not the PSX that looks useless) but the xbox will blow it away...M$ is willing to lose money at first and i doubt Sony can afford to do that. _________________

Why does everyone like the big M. There not so great. Microsoft is a baby compared to PS2, and (I have to say this so I don't anger the Nintendo freaks) yes the PS2 is a baby compared to Nintendo. But Sony will not take a dive to Microsoft. Sony is not the type to be bullied around (Nintendo is; sorry had to say that). But microsoft definetly has or has access to the best the technological world can offer. But can Sony pull a rabbit out of a hat, and finally bring the fall of the big M? Of course not. Bill Gates is so rich he could go bankrupt a million times. But will Sony defeat the big M, in the ranks and hearts of gamers? _________________ Out of many there is one. Out of one there is many.

I think with time everything you buy brand new gets better, for sure PS3 will be faster to load they will come up with ways to make their cd roms and dvd roms faster then before all it takes is time i'm sure they already have it testing in the labs. _________________ GOKU
