so true one eye, its not the hardware its the developer.. but the developer can only make it as pretty as the hardware can make it look.. but from what i read the cell processor is merely an expensive dream which has ended failure are failure so far _________________

it is indeed playstations next chipset which is gonna be stupid..not saying that the fact putting this new "cell processor" will be bad in terms of speed, because noone knows that untill it is publicly tested. the fact sony is putting there faith behind an unmade chip is preposterous. Sony needs to invest in already made chips. example by 2005 they could afforably put a p4 2.0 128 ddr 64 meg video card(ati/nvidia) and a 10 gig hd(yes 10 gig no need for more, its not like your install the games on ur console..) oh yeah the chip isn;t expected ready till 2007 and i been reading through many articles while writing this post and found this
Ha! thats pretty funny, sounds like sony may have a slight problem on their hands, kind of hard to launch in 2005, when your chipset isn't ready til 2007. Still who knows for sure what will happen, I plan to sit back and enjoy the ride. _________________ Chris
