elkware Inc., a leading developer and publisher of mobile games, today announced “Jungle Commando,” its first title developed for QUALCOMM’s BREW solution. “Jungle Commando” is an action-packed, combat game bringing frenetic arcade game-play to BREW-enabled phones.
Featuring intense shooting and an arsenal of devastating weapons, avid players lead the lone mercenary as he battles his way through an army of assailants and the dangers of the jungle to foil a diabolical terrorist plot.
“Jungle Commando” will be available this spring via several U.S. operators offering BREW-based services.
“elkware is proud to bring more than a decade of expertise in mobile games to the BREW solution,” said Dirk Nagel, CEO of elkware Inc. “The BREW system provides us a new revenue channel in which we’re able to reach millions of savvy game players with our game offerings.”
“We’re thrilled elkware can begin to experience the value of the BREW system and tap into a large and growing market of global BREW-based services,” said Mike Yuen, director of BREW Developer Relations for QUALCOMM Internet Services. “elkware is a veteran in wireless game development with an outstanding track record for bringing top games to market. We are looking forward to the launch of 'Jungle Commando' and the many other BREW-based titles that elkware is planning on releasing.”
