Game Boy Advance SP is Selling Like Mad

Posted on Friday, July 25, 2003 @ 07:05:51 am E.S.T

You, being a smart observer of the video game industry, know the games beat isn't just about the Nintendo GameCube™ vs. PlayStation2 vs. Xbox. You know your readers - at least 14.5 million of them - are interested in information that's, pardon the pun, in your back pocket.

You may recognize nearly half of all game systems sold in America last month were Game Boy® Advance systems. Forty-five percent, to be exact, almost as many as all three consoles combined.

Game Boy Advance also is outselling PlayStation2 through the first six months of this year. And six of the top 10 selling games in the country right now play only on the world's favorite hand-held, Game Boy Advance.

The momentum will heat up even more on Sept. 8, when Onyx (black) and Flame (red) will join the current Platinum (silver) and Cobalt (dark blue) Game Boy Advance SP systems.
