Namco's SOULCALIBUR(R)II for Nintendo GameCube(TM), which launched
Aug. 26, is outselling both the Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation 2
versions, according to NPD Funworld(R) data for August. The Nintendo
GameCube version of SOULCALIBUR(R)II is selling an average of 30
percent more than the other versions.
SOULCALIBUR(R)II for Nintendo GameCube is a 3-D, weapons-based
martial arts fighting game, which includes a special appearance by the
popular character Link from Nintendo's best-selling The Legend of
Zelda(R) series.
