Espoo, Finland - Nokia announced today that the highly anticipated role-playing game, Xanadu NextTM, is arriving to stores. Xanadu Next, an original take on the Xanadu franchise for the N-Gage platform, is a unique blend of traditional role-playing and exciting real-time combat that offers a one-of-a- kind gaming experience for Xanadu fans. Gamers will be able to prove their skills to the world by uploading their high scores to the N-Gage Arena, the world's biggest mobile gaming community. The most skilled gamers can also unlock a special map via the N-Gage Arena.

Xanadu Next transports gamers to far-off land of Xanadu to help liberate the once vibrant kingdom from the evil clutches of Galsis, the King Dragon and his army of monsters. Gamers are tasked to rescue MOMO, daughter of the village mayor, who has been abducted by Galsis' evil minions. By completing enigmatic missions and fighting off numerous enemies and bosses, gamers can rescue the beautiful MOMO and restore Xanadu to its former tranquility.
