1.0.2 Update for all PC versions of Close Combat: First to Fight ReleasedPosted on Monday, June 06, 2005 @ 11:48:20 pm E.S.T
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – June 6, 2005, Destineer Studios has released the 1.0.2 update for the Spanish, Italian, German, French, and English versions of its authentic U.S. Marine shooter: Close Combat: First to Fight.
In addition to providing several performance fixes, the 1.0.2 update includes multiple versions of dedicated server files. The dedicated server’s files in 1.0.2 update give the host a text only ‘light’ server allowing you to change preferences on the fly or a ‘full’ server for those preferring to be an observer and view game sessions in progress.
Update 1.0.2 addresses the following issues:
* Dedicated Server capability added.
* Enhanced observer mode options.
* Fix to the Portfolio function. Portfolios now display the mission and statistics scores properly.
* Fix to the save deletion function.
* Fix for AMD SSE chipsets that were having problems running Close Combat: First to Fight.
* Fix for a rare crash caused by Windows Media Player handling file formats for in-game movies.

Close Combat: First to Fight is an authentic, team-based first-person shooter created under the direction of active-duty United States Marines from the front lines of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Players lead a four-man Marine fire-team through the perils of modern urban combat. Together with the United States Marine Corps, Destineer created First to Fight as a training simulation for use by the Marine Corps and is available for Xbox®, Macintosh®, and Windows®.
