MX Unleashed Reaches ''Greatest Hits'' StatusPosted on Wednesday, November 03, 2004 @ 01:26:08 pm E.S.T
THQ(R) Inc. (Nasdaq:THQI) today announced that the highly acclaimed off-road racing title MX Unleashed for the PlayStation(R) 2 computer entertainment system has been added to Sony Computer Entertainment America's "Greatest Hits" collection, just nine months after its release. Beginning November 2, MX Unleashed, developed by leading racing developer Rainbow Studios, will be available for the suggested retail price of $19.99 at retail outlets throughout North America.
The game's addition to the "Greatest Hits" program marks Rainbow's third consecutive racing title to reach the elite status, reinforcing their position as the genre's leading developer and setting the stage for MX vs. ATV Unleashed, scheduled to be released in February 2005. MX vs. ATV Unleashed will combine Rainbow's ATV and motocross expertise to create an all-encompassing off-road experience.
"We're thrilled with Rainbow's strong performance and look forward to building a bigger audience of fans as part of the 'Greatest Hits' collection," said Peter Dille, senior vice president, worldwide marketing, THQ. "Three consecutive greatest hits titles is an excellent track record that bodes well for next year's MX vs. ATV Unleashed."
