Halo 2 is the follow-up to the massively popular original Halo: Combat Evolved video game originally released in 2001. Halo: Combat Evolved, from Bungie Studios, took the gaming world by storm and was instantly recognized as one of the greatest video games ever created. Halo took video gaming to a new level of interactive entertainment and changed the way people thought about how video games could deliver an engaging experience. With over 5 million copies sold worldwide and a mantle-full of gaming awards since its launch, Halo remains one of the top-selling Xbox games on the market.
In Halo 2 the saga continues as Master Chief, a cybernetically enhanced super-soldier, is the only thing standing between the relentless Covenant and the destruction of all mankind. Halo 2 will expand on everything that made the original game so great. At its heart a compelling and captivating story, Halo 2 makes revolutionary advances in design and technology to deliver perhaps the greatest game ever made.
