Atari, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATAR) today announced that Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) 3, has been approved for release by Sony Computer Entertainment America and manufacturing has begun. Rated 'T' for teen, Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) 3 and the Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) 3 Limited Edition will launch for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system at a suggested retail price of $49.99 and $59.99 on November 16th. Both products should be available in-stores by November 23.
The third installment of the popular Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) titles, Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) 3 has received critical acclaim in previews from leading consumer and enthusiast publications.

The Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) 3 Limited Edition includes several bonus items especially for the most ardent fans of DBZ(R). Official licensee Jakks Pacific has commissioned an exclusive Broly(TM) Chibi toy featuring the character's Budokai(TM) 3 in-game alternate costume. Atari also has produced a documentary that gives rare glimpse at how the U.S. voice actor cast of DBZ(R) makes the show's memorable characters come to life in a behind-the-scenes bonus DVD video called "Behind the Screams: The Making of Budokai(TM) 3." The DVD also contains the Budokai(TM) 3 "Super Trailer" video and a URL that fans can use to catch a sneak peek of the first ever DBZ(R) action-adventure game - DBZ(R) Sagas: Evolution.
