Leading video games developer and publisher Namco Hometek Inc. announced today the release of a new trailer for Time Crisis®: Crisis Zone, the newest installment in its popular light gun shooter franchise. The footage highlights a number of game characters battling within a variety of interactive and destructible environments. The trailer also details extensive use of the game’s double GUNCON®2 game play. Shipping exclusively for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Time Crisis: Crisis Zone is scheduled for an October release.

Time Crisis: Crisis Zone travels to Garland Square on the outskirts of London, where a terrorist group has taken control of the recently opened complex. As elite Special Tactics Force counter-terrorism officer Claude McGarren, players enjoy an impressive level of realistic interaction within game play environments, including shooting items off of store shelves and tables, burning clothing racks and breaking glass. Along the way, players can fly through levels and eliminate enemies using two GUNCON2s by unlocking the double-gun shooting feature. More unlockable features, including extra game play modes, special settings and new enemies provide additional depth and replay value in the latest installment in the Time Crisis series.
