Ubisoft, one of the world's leading videogame companies, today announced that Uru(tm): The Path of the Shell, the third piece of Myst's Uru adventure, will be available beginning July 13 for the PC at the manufacturer's suggested retail price of $19.99.
"We are excited to bring this chapter of the Uru story to eager fans," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing, Ubisoft. "Uru: Ages Beyond Myst has achieved both critical and consumer success, and The Path of the Shell will only help solidify the title as a 'must-have' for Myst and adventure fans."
This adventure's complete boxed set, Uru(tm): Complete Chronicles, includes the content in Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, Myst Uru: To D'ni(tm) (the free downloadable expansion released in February) and The Path of the Shell. The PC release of Complete Chronicles will be available on July 13 at the manufacturer's suggested retail price of $39.99.
The Path of the Shell will challenge and reward players with many new puzzles, new clothing options (including reward clothing), new player journals, technical features (including swimming), and five all-new Relto customization options.
"The Path of the Shell further expands the Uru portion of the Myst adventure series," said Rand Miller, co-creator of Myst and president of Cyan Worlds. "We know fans are excited to play through the next stages of the Uru story, and we're confident they will be impressed."
